Upload Insights

PacketSafari Upload Insights shows deterministic capture-processing and Triage signals as a capture becomes ready. It helps you choose a useful packet pivot or start an explicit Copilot or Agent investigation without running a separate background AI summary.

Upload Insights is intentionally lightweight:

• It appears as bounded capture metadata, packet statistics, and Triage evidence become available.
• It is designed to orient you quickly, not to replace packet review or a persisted investigation.
• Its evidence can continue refining while background capture processing is active.

What you get

• Capture readiness and processing status.
• Compact deterministic signals with packet filters or evidence pivots when available.
• Triage and security findings produced by the PacketSafari Core Engine.
• Explicit actions to inspect packets, ask Copilot, or configure an Agent investigation.

Upload Insights does not run a background model. Model-backed work begins only when you explicitly choose Ask AI, open Copilot, or submit the guided Agent investigation setup.

Where it appears

You can open Upload Insights from multiple places:

• the upload and first-open experience
• the analyzer side drawer
• the capture Summary view

How to read it

• Treat active processing state as incomplete until its coverage is terminal.
• Use packet-backed signals as pivots for packet review.
• Choose Ask AI for an interactive bounded question.
• Choose Investigate with Agent to open the guided question, workflow, privacy, and delivery setup.

If the capture is still refining, later analyzer passes can sharpen or expand the evidence behind the first Upload Insights result.

Upload Insights vs Copilot vs Agent

• Upload Insights is deterministic capture-processing and evidence state.
• Copilot is interactive. You ask questions and guide the analysis.
• Agent is the deeper autonomous workflow that can run a fuller investigation plan and produce a longer result.
